PLEASE NOTE THAT FROM 1st JUNE 2013 - Unfortunately due to no further funding the RHAP project is no longer active at the REC.
 
If you are a victim of Hate Crime and wish to report it, you can call 101.
 
If your incident is an emergency call 999, or if you would like to speak to someone, contact your local Police.  You can pass on information about crime, anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.  Or you can report online, directly at;  www.report-it.org.uk

"A racist incident is any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person."

Racist attacks are against the law. Tackling racist incidents is of top priority for Preston and Western Lancashire Racial Equality Council. RHAP is a five year project funded by the Big Lottery aiming to provide an enhanced service to those affected by racism. RHAP works in partnership with key agencies but is independent of the Police.

CONGRATULATIONS to Lancashire United Against Hate Partnerhip who were shortlisted in the UnitedHealth Group Diversity team of the year category of the European Diversity Awards 2011 which took place on 22nd September 2011 at the Savoy Hotel, London - the Partnership came RUNNERS UP!  WELL DONE to the team!!

RHAP officers were nominated for 2011 Fusion Award for their partnership work for Lancashire Constabulary and Lancashire County Council for the H8 Lancashire United Against Hate DVD which is being hailed as good practice, NATIONALLY! - see the Asian Image article here;
