Race Hate Awareness and Prevention (RHAP)
"A racist incident is any incident which is perceived to be racist by the victim or any other person."
Racist attacks are against the law. Tackling racist incidents is of top priority for Preston and Western Lancashire Racial Equality Council. RHAP is a five year project funded by the Big Lottery aiming to provide an enhanced service to those affected by racism. RHAP works in partnership with key agencies but is independent of the Police.
